Hi! My name is Becca and I am the owner and lead event planner of BB Events, an SF Bay Area event planning company that works with nonprofits, community organizations and socially conscious companies to create meaningful, purposeful spaces for people to gain awareness, get educated, start dialogues, donate funds, forge partnerships and experience a-ha moments that ultimately lead to creating positive social change. I am a wizard with detail, organization, thoughtful strategy and making Google spreadsheets look pretty and functional that brings people clarity and ease so they can focus on what they do best. 

I am proud of the unique background and experiences that I bring into every event I plan whether it is inspired by my Brazilian and Jewish identities, world travels, corporate jobs, nonprofit career or my time serving in AmeriCorps.

My AmeriCorps service launched my social impact career before I transitioned into the traditional event planning industry. Planning large-scale days of service including Los Angeles’ largest MLK Day of Service where I mobilized thousands of volunteers has been a true highlight. I am excited about bringing back this social impact focus into my event planning work so that BB Events can achieve its mission of creating events that affect positive social change around purposeful causes through education, awareness, coalition building, dialogue, and fundraising. 

When I’m not building timelines, I’m eating sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies, adorning fab earrings and hats, strength training, painting my nails or listening to storytelling podcasts.
